Food safety is a top priority for everyone involved in the preparation, handling, and serving of food. CFT, in partnership with the Community House Network, is dedicated to providing comprehensive Food Safety Training in Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres throughout Greater Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

Delivering in-class training throughout Greater Melbourne & regional Victoria

Since 1998 CFT has been delivering classes in partnership with Community Houses around Victoria helping to provide Food Safety Training via both private classes and classes open to the public.

CFT regularly runs public classes at various Community Centres throughout Greater Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

Meet Our Trainer

Samantha King is known in the industry for her passion and drive in supporting clients and generally those around her.

Her wide range of clientele from large corporations to small local community groups has given her the expertise to communicate across various hospitality sectors, ages, cultural and social backgrounds across Australia.

Samantha delivers herself and her knowledge in a highly professional manner whilst having a true understanding of the day to day operations of today's working kitchen.

From her beginnings as a Qualified Chef in two-hatted restaurants, her eye for detail and dedication to teamwork led her to become a specialist Food Safety Trainer, Consultant, Registered Victorian Department of Health Auditor and approved Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) RSA Trainer for the industry.

She is a dynamic facilitator and also a Food Safety Program writer.
