Food recalls – is your business prepared?
If you’re a food business, you should have a written plan in place to manage a potential product recall. It’s a legal requirement and the responsibility of all food businesses to ensure their recall plan is up-to-date.
The start of the year is the perfect time to review and update your plan. Remember – it should cover the procedures, records and staff responsibilities that are in place for a food recall.
