NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate - Course Details
The NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (FSS) is a legal requirement for food safety supervisors working in NSW. Every licensed food business must have a food safety supervisor to add a level of on-site protection for food health and safety.

With the certification, participants will be able to provide on-site protection for food health and safety and ensure that all NSW food businesses meet the necessary requirements.

Students in the NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Course (course codes SITXFSA005 & SITXFSA006) will be assessed in two components:

2. A simple skills observation report carried out in the workplace.
There are some things we can’t see you doing through your computer – such as washing your hands. That’s why we need you to ask somebody that you work with, or someone who works in the food industry, to complete a skills observation report
