Upon successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a Statement of Attainment in Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) SITHFAB021. This certification allows participants to work within Australia’s liquor laws (in SA. WA, NT QLD and ACT – see here for Victoria RSA) with confidence and knowledge that they can handle any situation from challenging customers all while knowing when someone has had too much beer or wine!

The Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course is delivered via e-learning (online), which provides learners with the flexibility to study at their own pace in their own time. Once you have completed the RSA course and achieved a passing grade, you will be able to download, save and print a PDF copy of your certificate.

Remember, obtaining your RSA certificate is a priority within seven days of commencing work at a licensed premises, ensuring compliance with NT’s regulations and setting the stage for a successful career in the hospitality industry.

But the journey doesn’t end there. RSA certification in NT does not require a renewal every three years like in Victoria, but to ensure that you stay up-to-date with evolving industry standards and best practices it’s worth keeping up to date. The NTrefreshRSA website offers a free, convenient online refresher courses, allowing you to maintain your knowledge with ease and convenience.

For those already holding an RSA certificate from another state or territory, validation for use in the NT is contingent upon accreditation by the Australian Skills Quality Authority or approval by the Liquor Commission. If your current certificate exceeds three years, a refresher course is necessary to ensure compliance with NT regulations.

Additionally, licensees play a crucial role in upholding RSA standards within licensed premises. Maintaining an RSA register on-site, complete with copies of each staff member’s RSA certificate and refresher course certificate, is mandatory.
