Under Australian legislation, almost every Australian food business will need to employ at least one person that is nationally qualified as a Food Safety Supervisor.
Your 3rd party observer needs to be a person whose qualifications are equal to or above the level being assessed, OR a person who has a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the food industry.
If you don't currently have a workplace or workplace supervisor this practical assignment can be completed in your home kitchen as a simulated environment and observed by someone suitably experienced in food preparation.
