Government of WA – RSA Resources and Information

Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is mandated by the WA Liquor Control Act 1988, requiring formal training for all bar staff, managers, and licensees. The law strictly prohibits various actions, including permitting drunkenness on the premises, serving alcohol to intoxicated individuals, and providing alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. Additionally, licensed venues must adhere to their own unique characteristics and may have additional legal requirements or restrictions pertaining to the sale and supply of alcohol.

Compliance with RSA regulations is crucial, as failure to adhere to the law can result in significant penalties. To ensure awareness and adherence to these regulations, provide responsible service of alcohol posters are available for download, providing clear guidelines for retailers and licensed venues. These posters outline various legal prohibitions, such as selling alcohol to intoxicated individuals, restrictions on the sale and supply of liquor, requirements for table service, and consequences for non-compliance, including fines and penalties.

Moreover, stringent measures are in place regarding the identification and management of patrons, particularly concerning age verification and the prevention of underage drinking. It is illegal to display false or misleading identification, and establishments enforce strict policies regarding entry requirements and acceptable forms of identification. Additionally, juveniles are prohibited from possessing or consuming alcohol in public places or on licensed premises, with severe penalties for non-compliance.

Regarding RSA WA & Perth provide responsible service of alcohol is not only a legal obligation but also a fundamental aspect of ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons and maintaining the integrity of licensed venues. By understanding and adhering to RSA regulations, both staff and patrons contribute to a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

RSA VIC

"I am extremely satisfied with the courses I’ve completed and will absolutely recommend your services to others. If you're looking for a top-tier training provider, I can't recommend CFT enough!"

"Recently, I needed to complete a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course, and CFT International was recommended by a friend.

After doing some research, I discovered that CFT is registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority, which gave me confidence to proceed—and I'm so glad I did!

My experience with CFT has been outstanding! In fact, I was so impressed that I returned to their site to complete another certificate course.

Each course was well-structured, professional, and incredibly relevant. The presentation wasn’t just dry theory; it was brought to life with workplace scenarios through videos and photos.

This made it feel like I was right there in the classroom or workplace, which really helped drive the points home. Watching these videos gave me a clear understanding of what’s expected in various real-world situations.

One feature I particularly appreciated was that I couldn’t progress to the next level unless I fully understood the current one. This allowed me to take thorough notes and revisit areas I wasn’t completely confident in before moving on to the final assessments. It made the learning experience much more comprehensive and ensured I retained the information.

On top of that, their customer service is top-notch. I had to call once to clarify a point, and the help I received was excellent—special thanks to Carmel for her patience and guidance.

Thank you, CFT!"
