VIC Gov. Rebranded VGCCC to Liquor Control Victoria (LCV): What You Need to Know

The Victorian Government rebranded the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) to Liquor Control Victoria (LVC) on the 31^st January 2023.  This means anyone undertaking a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course with an approved RTO will be issued a new branded certificate.

• Victorian Liquor Commission are expecting to have a website with key information and online forms by the end of March 2023, in the meantime you can find them at vgccc.vic.gov.au 

• Online Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Refresher Course

You need to complete an RSA refresher course every three years to maintain your training requirements.

What does this mean for me?

• Anyone completing the Victorian government approved RSA course after the 31^st of January 2023, will receive a new, rebranded certificate upon completion.
• Previously issued certificates with VGCCC logos and branding will remain valid.
• Interstate RSA Holders: If you hold an RSA for another state or territory, you may be eligible to have that course recognised in Victoria. Visit the bridging course to check eligibility and request recognition.
